Kick-start your barista career with this comprehensive 2-day course! The DGERT-certified Barista 1 Course is the right choice for anyone who wants to start a career as a barista.
In this intensive 2-day training, you will experience the magical world of coffee. First, you will acquire essential knowledge about its origins. Second, you will learn about the flavors, textures, and aromas of different types of coffee. And third, you will explore the technique of preparing an espresso, learning how to work with an espresso machine and a coffee grinder. Under the supervision of one of our trainers, you will practice on the espresso machine at one of our workstations and learn how to adjust machine and grinder to create a correctly extracted espresso.
During the course you will have the opportunity to visit the first and oldest espresso machine factory in Portugal, Fiamma. Small classes guarantee a fun and intimate learning experience, guided by an experienced barista trainer. This course will be held in Portuguese. However, English-speaking students are welcome!
